As you said, PPS duplication has been nerfed to the point it is, imo, not even worth persuing; unless someone can confirm there's more reliable avenues than the Chara World for duplicating equipment. I've found the best means is to get a mage-type to super high level, get a team of heavy knights, and toss your way through the Item world.

Once you have items as high of a level as you can achieve, start RPing. Keep resetting till you get atleast one Stastician, and repeat this process a few thousand times. If someone knows a faster way, I'd certainly love to hear it. If the Item World Dark Assembly still allows you to Clone Senators and dupe from them, there's that option as well, though it's kind of a longer gamble to get it perfectly setup.
