With the perfect pass, you can set the speed to the 10ths of a mph. You can also set the perfect pass for the amount of weight you have in the boat plus has fast it measures the speed. If you wakeboard, you need to go with the perfect pass. PerfectPass is tried and true and nothing blows more than a boat that doesn't hold speed.

We didn't have a bunch of weight in it though, just stock ballast and 5 people. I guess we'll see how it handles with more weight this spring. Are the features of MC cruise control really the same as how CC works in a car? I perfer the PP. That way you know the speed you will be going before the boat takes off. PP is the way to go then. MC Cruise Control seems like it would rely too much on the driver to first set the perfect speed, whereas with PP, as long as your driver can keep the boat going in a straight line, you can set your speed and when the speed is met, it's then controlled. You set the speed that you want before hand in the MC version.

Perfect Pass has a ton of functions that the average person will never use though. The MC version is very basic it holds the speed and maybe does a couple of other things as well. I'm never going to use all the different things that PP has, it's a great product, however if all you want is something to hold your speed then the MC version should be fine.
