How old is tim riggins in season 1
Then there was that time he and his brother, Billy, stole copper wire. But Tim also had one of the biggest hearts of anyone in Dillon. Plus, if you looked past the unwashed but amazing hair and general disinterest in most things, Tim Riggins was an optimist.
He had dreams. But after Street was paralyzed, Tim had to adjust his dream. It took him a bit, but by the third season of Friday Night Lights , his new dream was less about football and more about a happily-ever-after with Lyla Garrity — even if it meant going to college. But Tim was never going to put himself before someone he loved, so when he heard Lyla was contemplating giving up Vanderbilt to stay in Texas and attend San Antonio State with him, he told her to go.
Without football and without Lyla, Tim struggled to find a new dream. Throughout that fourth season, we watched him do a bit of soul-searching until he figured out exactly what he wanted: to open a car garage with his brother and live on his land in Texas… forever.
His greatest downfall was his circumstances, and more specifically, his screw-up of a brother. User Info: Atralis. I may be wrong about this, but I think Tyra and Riggins were seniors, but for story's sake they made them juniors later on. As for Matt Saracen's dad, that could be explained by his father not really wanting to come home. User Info: SuperEdgeHead.
Yeah, I had a similar reaction when I found out that Matt and Tim were supposed to be in the same year. I can usually brush off older actors being cast as teenagers, but Friday Night Lights was pretty ridiculous about it. User Info: ffhc The worst was Julie. The show actually came out and said she was a sophomore in Season 1, yet she doesn't graduate until Season 4 and no one mentions her being held back.
User Info: CrowMagnon. That's part of the whole story. Lyla begins to cry and hit Tim, who in turn pulls her in for a hug. Both are visibly upset, and share a long kiss. Despite her expressing that nothing more can happen, Tim shows up in Lyla's bedroom, telling her that he is unable to stop thinking of her. The two of them sleep together for the first time. Lyla and Tim start having a secret relationship behind Jason's back, even after Jason and Lyla have reconciled.
Tim appears to have real feelings for Lyla, who doesn't feel the same way. When he asks her about school, she snaps at him and tells her that he doesn't have to try and make conversation, leaving him frustrated. Later, she ends the affair over her guilty conscience, still invested in her relationship with Jason. Shortly after the affair ends, Tim, Jason, and Lyla spend the day together. Afterwards, Jason witnesses Tim and Lyla sharing a passionate hug in the parking lot when Tim drops her off at her car.
Suspecting that something is happening between the two, Jason confronts Lyla, who denies everything at first and frantically goes to speak to Tim. He tells her that it is over because she ended it, although he seems to still have feelings for her. Later, Jason punches Tim in the face, and Lyla confesses to him that the two of them slept together. For a while, Jason and Lyla are broken up, with Lyla still wanting things to workout between the two of them.
She may have some resentment towards Tim. Lyla and Jason get back together and are engaged. She and Tim don't speak much, but he continues to support her and be there for, and vice versa. The season ends with Lyla and Jason breaking up after she finds him cheating on her with a tattoo artist. At the beginning of season 2, Lyla has renewed her faith in God after feeling lost, while Tim is back to his old ways, drinking and sleeping around.
The two of them run into one another in the parking lot, where Lyla tells Tim about her faith. Tim tells Lyla that despite the number of girls he has been with, Lyla is still his "number one" and the "best he's ever had.
Tim decides to go to church with Lyla after she encourages him to. After church, Tim shows up in Lyla's bedroom, telling her that he was moved because of the service. She's happy by this, but angered when Tim attempts to kiss her.
He tells her that he feels closer to God when he is with her. Lyla is angered, asking him if he really thought that line would work on her. When Tim goes to Mexico with Jason so that he can get his surgery, Tim grows worried about the procedure and calls Lyla, asking her to come to Mexico and help him talk Jason out of it.
Despite her reluctance, she goes. She almost leaves in frustration at the way Tim is handling things, but he convinces her to stay, telling her that he needs her there and that Jason needs her. The three of them go on a boat, where Lyla and Tim confront an angry Jason about not getting the procedure, causing him to jump overboard and the two of them having to rescue him. That night, they are all dancing and drinking in a bar. Lyla sits on Jason's lap and kisses him in front of Tim.
Then Tim and Lyla begin to dance together, sharing a more sensual kiss, after which she says that she has to go and pray. On the ride home to Texas, Lyla can be seen with her head resting on Tim's shoulder.
