So i've only seen light pink when ive wiped twice, all the rest has been the light brown. Your spotting sounds very similar to mine. Mine was only when I wiped, but nearly every time I wiped. I did have 2 instances of red blood too, but they only happened when I wiped once and were gone by the next time I used the toilet.

Other than that mostly light brown, a couple times light pink. This all happened during my 6th week of pregnancy, and hasn't happened again since I hit Week 7. Ceridwen21 member. Well, the Dr I was going to go to was not being very helpful and the receptionist is rude So I called someone else and they made a bigger deal of the spotting.

It was going to be quite a while before I could get into my regular dr let alone my OB military medical so when I called the OB nurse she said to go into the ER because they would be able to do a blood test and an ultrasound and give me some sort of answer so I wasn't worried all that time.

They also wanted to rule out an ectopic pregnancy and without the referral there was nothing OB could do for me. It was pretty frustrating at first but the ER ended up getting me my referral so I could do my follow ups with my OB and both ultrasounds showed us the heart beat. Soon to be mommy of 3! Went to Dr yesterday and I feel better. They did am ultra sound and dated me at 5 Weeks.

They said spotting can be normal around 4 to 5 Weeks so that made me feel better. Going back tomorrow tocheck my hormones again. I just had the same thing happen, right around 6 weeks and a light pink when wiping and then it turned to a brownish color. I have been freaking out but called my OB today and she said it's perfectly normal for that coloring and if it turns red then to call the doctor. Even with the reassurance I am still freaking out, I am already becoming a worry wart from this little bugger and it's not even born yet.

A few months ago I was pregnant with my first child and I miscarried. Now I'm 6 weeks pregnant again thanks be to God and I continue to spot brown blood : doctor says don't stress and don't think too much into it but it's easier said then done.. And if so any recommendations on how to get it out? They said the same thing stressed bed rest?

Is that normal? Shouldn't you be able to still work and go about a semi normal life at weeks? So early? Not experiencing any other symptoms No morning sickness etc. I went to ER and they sent me home saying everything was in tact and here I am with a beautiful 10wk old daughter. Its normal and hard to not think about but know that it is ok and baby is more than likely just fine, your body is just getting ready for growing and making that amazing baby!

TynAly, Aww congrats! It's just so worrisome because everyone I know didn't spot and I had a miscarriage before.. TynAly, I started spotting at 5 wks and at 6 wk 1 day still spotting!

Did anyone else spot that long? Did you refrain fr any activity during this time? I was put on pelvic rest and was told not to do any heavy lifting. I am 34 weeks now
